About The Position

As a Returns and Freight Specialist, you will play a crucial role in carefully assessing and processing exchange and return requests. Your primary responsibility will involve collaborating with appropriate representatives to address necessary adjustments efficiently and help to facilitate customer special needs. In addition to this, your duties will encompass the creation and dispatching of return labels or emails, along with the management of logistics associated with product retrieval or item disposal. We are seeking an individual who can proactively monitor the RAFT Slack channel, ensuring timely responses to incoming inquiries!

Requirements

  • Must be employed with ZLINE for a minimum of 6 months to 1 year.
  • Must have manager's approval to transfer.
  • Ability to keep composure in difficult and escalated situations.

Responsibilities

  • Answering the freight phone line for carriers, vendors, and customers with shipping-related inquiries.
  • Collaboratively manage return and exchange queues with a strong emphasis on teamwork.
  • Facilitating and monitoring all white-glove deliveries/exchanges.
  • Keeping composure in difficult and escalated situations, providing solutions to customers having issues at delivery with damaged products or other challenges.
  • Collaborating closely with freight carriers to proactively address delivery issues and fulfill their needs.
  • Reaching out to customers and channel partners to keep them informed about delivery requirements.
  • Providing timely responses to phone calls and emails related to all freight and delivery matters.
