About The Position

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Part-Time 3rd Shift Freight Handler to join their warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely removing pallets of product from trailers and breaking down the product for correct pallet configuration. You will also separate inbound freight by item code onto good pallets, ensure damaged product is properly accounted for and not received into inventory, and verify the structural integrity of pallets. No prior experience is required as training will be provided.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions (-25F to 100F) is required.
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check.

Nice To Haves

Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
