About The Position

This position is responsible for managing inventory flow, stocking merchandise, and providing excellent customer service. The associate will operate a forklift, maintain the sales floor, and ensure club pickup orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. They will also be expected to uphold company policies, promote a safe work environment, and contribute to a culture of respect and integrity.

Requirements

  • 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
  • Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Operate a forklift safely to pick up, move, place, and position merchandise pallets.
  • Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers and coworkers.
  • Receive, stock, and organize merchandise and supplies, managing inventory flow and utilizing equipment appropriately.
  • Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and resolving issues.
  • Maintain the safety of the facility according to company policies and procedures, conducting safety sweeps and following specific procedures for handling materials and equipment.
  • Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with company policies, including zoning, stocking, rotating merchandise, and setting up displays.
  • Ensure club pickup orders are filled accurately and staged according to company policy.
  • Handle, move, and display goods in safe and correct ways, track goods, maintain instock levels, and control shrinkage.
  • Operate and maintain forklifts in safe and correct ways, reporting any unsafe conditions or malfunctions.
  • Proactively identify and assist customers with technology services and items.
  • Identify and address shrink opportunities and problems with products, services, and work areas.
