About The Position

This position is responsible for managing inventory flow, operating a forklift, and providing excellent customer service. The associate will ensure the sales floor is well-maintained, club pickup orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, and all safety and company policies are followed. The role also involves proactive customer engagement, technology assistance, and identifying/resolving operational issues to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Requirements

  • 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
  • Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Operate a forklift safely to pick up, move, place, and position merchandise pallets.
  • Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners.
  • Receive, stock, and organize merchandise and supplies, managing inventory flow and utilizing equipment appropriately.
  • Provide member service by acknowledging needs, offering guidance, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
  • Maintain the safety of the facility according to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure club pickup orders are filled accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle, move, and display goods in safe and correct ways.
  • Track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
  • Operate and maintain forklifts in safe and correct ways.
  • Proactively identify customers who need help and assist them with technology services and items.
  • Identify shrink opportunities and problems with products, services, and work areas and take steps to fix them.
  • Properly maintain equipment and ensure products are organized and stocked in correct ways.
  • Strengthen the team by helping, developing, and mentoring others, and recognizing contributions and accomplishments.
  • Act in a selfless manner and be consistently humble, self-aware, honest, fair, and transparent.
  • Deliver results while putting the customer first.
