About The Position
The Freight Flow Associate is responsible for managing inventory flow, stocking merchandise, and providing excellent customer service at Sam's Club. This role involves operating a forklift, maintaining the sales floor presentation, and ensuring club pickup orders are accurately filled. The associate will also assist with technology services for customers and uphold company policies regarding safety, ethics, and integrity.
Requirements
- 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
- Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Operates forklift following Company standards and guidelines.
- Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources.
- Receives, stocks, and organizes merchandise and supplies.
- Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and assisting with purchases and issues.
- Maintains the safety of the facility according to company policies and procedures.
- Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensures club pickup orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging orders.
- Handles, moves, and displays goods in safe and correct ways.
- Tracks goods, maintains instock levels, and controls shrinkage.
- Operates and maintains forklifts in safe and correct ways.
- Proactively identifies customers who need help and assists them with technology services.
- Identifies shrink opportunities and problems with products, services, and work areas and takes steps to fix them.
- Models and helps others with technology services.
- Works as a team, builds strong and trusting relationships, and communicates with impact, energy, and positivity.
- Helps, develops, and mentors others; recognizes others' contributions and accomplishments.
- Maintains and promotes the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance.
