About The Position

The Freight Flow Associate is responsible for managing inventory flow, operating a forklift, and providing excellent customer service. This role ensures the efficient and safe handling of merchandise, maintaining the sales floor presentation, and assisting members with their needs. The associate will also be involved in fulfilling club pickup orders and identifying opportunities for improvement in processes and security.

Requirements

  • 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
  • Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Operate a forklift safely, picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets.
  • Complete work assignments and priorities, managing inventory flow and utilizing equipment appropriately.
  • Receive, stock, and organize merchandise and supplies.
  • Provide member service by acknowledging needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and resolving issues.
  • Maintain the safety of the facility according to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure club pickup orders are filled accurately and staged properly.
  • Handle, move, and display goods in safe and correct ways.
  • Track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
  • Operate and maintain forklifts in safe and correct ways.
  • Proactively identify customers who need help and assist them with technology services and items.
  • Identify and fix shrink opportunities and problems with products, services, and work areas.
  • Properly maintain equipment and ensure products are organized and stocked in correct ways.
  • Embrace differences in people, cultures, ideas, and experiences, creating a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected.
