About The Position

This position is responsible for various tasks related to inventory management, customer service, and maintaining the sales floor. The associate will operate a forklift, receive and stock merchandise, assist customers, ensure safety standards are met, and maintain merchandising presentation. They will also be involved in fulfilling club pickup orders and handling inventory accurately and efficiently. The role emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and customer focus, aligning with Walmart's values.

Requirements

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Operates forklift following Company standards and guidelines.
• Receives, stocks, and organizes merchandise and supplies.
• Provides member service by acknowledging needs, assisting with purchases, locating merchandise, and resolving issues.
• Maintains the safety of the facility according to company policies and procedures.
• Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensures club pick up orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging orders.
• Handles, moves, and displays goods in safe and correct ways.
• Tracks goods, maintains instock levels, and controls shrinkage.
• Operates and maintains forklifts in safe and correct ways.
• Proactively identifies Customers who need help and assists them with Technology services and items.
• Identifies shrink opportunities and problems and takes steps to fix them.
• Properly maintains equipment and ensures products are organized and stocked correctly.
• Works as a team, builds strong relationships, and communicates effectively.
• Helps, develops, and mentors others; recognizes others' contributions.
• Maintains and promotes the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance.
• Delivers results while putting the customer first.
