About The Position

As a Pricing Analyst working within Redwood Multimodal, you will be responsible for deploying pricing strategies to the existing and new contract book of business and developing ongoing enhancements to our contract pricing engine. Additionally, you will be tasked with deploying strategies to ensure sufficient yield on a load, lane, and account level. You will use your leadership skills to identify and implement process improvements. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, self-motivated, and create solutions with a sense of urgency.

Requirements

1+ year of experience in pricing, pricing analysis, or related quantitative role.
Proven experience in a fast paced, dynamic work environment with ability to effectively multitask and prioritize multiple projects.
Ability to focus for long periods of time on highly strategic projects.
Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and nested formulas required.
Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt quickly to changing needs/timelines while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
Working knowledge of SQL preferred.
Experience with database management and reporting to all levels of the organization.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Must be extremely detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication.
BS/BA degree in supply chain, economics, business, mathematics or related discipline.

Nice To Haves

3+ years of experience in logistics, leadership, and/or analytics strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Deploying pricing strategies to the existing and new contract book of business.
Developing ongoing enhancements to our contract pricing engine.
Deploying strategies to ensure sufficient yield on a load, lane, and account level.
Identifying and implementing process improvements.
Understanding seasonality, price modeling, lane level analysis and truckload cycle dynamics that support our customers’ ever-changing needs.
Prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment to drive organizational growth.
Serving as primary contact between Sales and Operations teams on RFPs through phone and written conversations.
Actively contributing to team performance to hit RFP and weekly report deadlines.
Managing dashboard reporting and data integrity of Snowflake and Tableau tools.
Ensuring written and verbal team communications are timely, concise, and accurate.
Maintaining our current Standard Operations Procedures to clearly identify roles & responsibilities.
Other related duties as assigned.
