About The Position
Melton Logistics is a Tulsa based 3PL looking for energetic, sales-driven, and resilient individuals to join their team as Inside Sales Representatives, also known as Freight Brokers in the industry. Freight Brokerage involves finding customers and facilitating the transportation of their freight from origin to destination. This role offers an opportunity to work your way into a great position with unlimited commission potential.
Requirements
- Fast-paced and comfortable working under pressure
- Driven by sales and motivated to close the sale
- Some sales/business development/cold calling experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- A lot of cold calling
- The ability to multitask and stay calm in a hectic environment
- The resiliency to make cold calls and hear “no”
- A great attitude and the drive the be successful
Responsibilities
- Identifying, prospecting, and calling on potential new customers
- Negotiating prices and closing the deal with customers
- Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining relationships with our customers and carriers
- Tracking and tracing loads and keeping customers updated on the status of their shipments
Benefits
- Base salary starting at $40,000 to $50,000 plus unlimited/uncapped commission
