About The Position
TransPerfect is growing its long-term freelancer pool for an automotive and vehicle account, with the possibility of future technical projects. The work involves Simplified Chinese-to-Danish full post-editing (MTPE) and/or proofreading of automotive content, vehicle user interfaces, guides, and similar materials. Onboarding requires a free subject-specific automotive test and service-specific tests; the automotive and MTPE tests are mandatory. Applicants should email their CV, separate USD rates for MTPE and proofreading, availability to complete the test, and a brief summary of relevant experience.
Requirements
- Work in the language pair Simplified Chinese into Danish.
- Native or near-native Danish proficiency and professional proficiency in Simplified Chinese.
- Relevant experience in automotive projects.
- Either at least 2 years of professional experience and a language-related degree, or at least 5 years of professional experience with no degree required.
- Complete the automotive subject-specific test and MTPE service test.
Nice To Haves
- Proofreading service-specific certification or test completion; additional certifications may provide more opportunities to claim tasks.
