About The Position
TransPerfect is expanding its long-term freelancer pool for an automotive/vehicle account and future technical projects. The work involves translating Simplified Chinese into Turkish and providing full post-editing (MTPE) and/or proofreading services. Projects may include automotive content, vehicle user interfaces, guides, and similar materials. Onboarding requires a free subject-specific automotive test and service-specific tests. The automotive and MTPE tests are mandatory; completing additional certifications may increase opportunities to claim tasks. Applicants are asked to provide separate USD rates for MTPE and proofreading. Payment is made within 45 days via bank transfer or PayPal. Applications are submitted by email with a CV, rates, availability to complete the tests, and a brief summary of relevant automotive experience.
Requirements
- Native or near-native Turkish proficiency.
- Professional proficiency in Simplified Chinese.
- Relevant experience in automotive projects.
- Either at least 2 years of professional experience and a language-related degree, or at least 5 years of professional experience with no degree required.
- Ability to complete a subject-specific automotive test and an MTPE test.

- Proofreading test and certification for additional projects or services.
Responsibilities
