About The Position
Sandbox Interactive, the ambitious game development studio behind the award-winning game Albion Online, is seeking a talented Chinese Simplified & Traditional Translator and Proofreader. Albion Online is the first true cross-platform MMO, playable on multiple devices with a large daily player base. The company, which started in 2012 and is now part of the Stillfront Group, employs an international team of over 100 people passionate about making the game the best it can be. This role is based in Berlin.
Requirements
- Fluent in Chinese Simplified & Traditional
- Skilled Chinese Simplified & Traditional translator
- Solid post-editing and proofreading skills to ensure the highest quality content
- Consistent availability to meet agreed deadlines
Nice To Haves
- Experience in game localization is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Translating, post-editing and proofreading in-game text, patch notes, news articles, and video subtitles
- Completing all tasks using a CAT tool provided by SBI
Benefits
- Compensation: Paid per word (invoiced monthly)
- Time Commitment: approximately 5–10 hours per week
