About The Position
FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S., including stations in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas. These stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. The company is seeking a Freelance Reporter/Writer/Producer for "Florida Tonight," a show that celebrates everything unique about Florida, from its natural beauty to its quirks like roaming alligators and traffic jams. The role involves spreading joy and humor about life in Florida. This is a part-time freelance position that requires a willingness to travel and a sharp eye for the unconventional. The company will provide equipment, which the contributor will be responsible for maintaining. The successful candidate must be willing to discover and tell compelling stories outside of the Tampa, Orlando, and Jacksonville TV Markets. Requirements
- Strong social media Skills
- Proficiency in video production (shooting and editing)
