About The Position
Jubilee Media is looking for a Freelance Motion Designer to build the motion graphics package for Nectar's short form content. This is not an editing role; the designer will be building reusable graphics templates for editors to use in Premiere. The goal is to create a cohesive motion graphics package for a series of short-form content.
Requirements
- Strong motion work with a clear point of view on timing and rhythm.
- Fluency with Premiere's Essential Graphics workflow, specifically building MOGRTs with editable controls.
- Experience designing for vertical short form (TikTok, Reels, Shorts).
- Comfort working from existing static designs and extending them into motion.
- Ability to take a brief, ask clarifying questions, and design effectively.
Nice To Haves
- LA-based is a plus for occasional in-person collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Translate static graphic designs into motion.
- Build reusable MOGRTs (Essential Graphics templates) for Premiere editors.
- Apply sound design to support motion.
- Deliver a motion graphics package suitable for a series.
- Design graphics that are legible at small sizes and fast speeds for vertical short-form content.
