About The Position

Nexus Health is seeking to add a Freelance Editorial Supervisor / Senior Editor to their Freelancer Community for both immediate and future assignments. Lockwood, a part of Nexus Health, collaborates with clients in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device industries to develop effective, holistic, and science-based strategies for market access communications. Requirements

At least 5 years of medical editing experience.
Market Access agency or comparable experience required.

Responsibilities

Manage editorial services for aligned accounts in conjunction with Traffic Management.
Collaborate with Market Access teams to address their evolving needs, learning priorities and objectives of aligned teams and how they fit within the business unit.
Maintain knowledge of relevant style guidelines for aligned accounts, including client-specific, AMA, and Chicago styles.
Maintain and update Editorial SOP, list of frequently encountered editorial questions/issues, and list of team-specific requests and preferences.
Address CE-related questions from scientific directors and other team members.
Review content for objective grammatical and stylistic standards, as well as for "sense" or "story" when requested.
Lead colleagues toward manageable solutions.
Demonstrate flexibility, innovation, and independent judgment.
Liaise with key stakeholders to broaden the capabilities of the Editorial department and its outputs.
Provide timely communication between relevant departments, including Accounts, Scientific, and third-party contributors.
