About The Position

We're building PayMoji, the app that lets travelers pay like a local with native QR codes across Southeast Asia. We are currently already live in Vietnam and in the Philippines and are looking for more creators to promote our app. We are open to creators who come with their own ideas for partnership and want to build something with us over time. The focus is on Vietnam and the Philippines, with future expansion into Thailand and Cambodia.

Requirements

• Have a real audience of travelers, nomads, or expats in Vietnam or the Philippines.
• Have experienced real-world challenges when paying with cash, credit cards, and/or QR codes in SEA.
• Be straightforward with your audience, avoiding fake hype and spam.
• Be able to run a collaboration independently.
• Communicate clearly from the road.
• Come with a specific number for your rate, even if rough.

Nice To Haves

• Focus on travel & nomad creators (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reels, Shorts, long-form).
• Focus on community leaders & organizers (Facebook groups, Discords, Telegram channels, WhatsApp communities, coworking and hostel crowds, meetup hosts).
• Focus on local voices (Vietnamese or Filipino creators who can explain the local payment world to visitors, in either direction).
• Niche and unique content creators (e.g., motorbike touring, diving, budget travel, digital nomad finance, solo female travel, food hunting).
• Experience with different payment methods like cash, credit cards, and QR codes in Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities

• Create promoted content for PayMoji.
• Develop partnership ideas and build collaborations over time.
• Target audiences in Vietnam and the Philippines.
• Engage with travelers, nomads, and expats.
• Share real-world experiences with payment challenges in SEA.
• Run collaborations independently and communicate clearly.
• Potentially engage in community activities like AMAs, guide creation, or workshops.
• Participate in affiliate/referral programs.
• Act as a long-term ambassador.
• Create content that PayMoji can license for paid media.
• Assist with local market work, including merchant introductions and on-the-ground QR mapping.
