Freelance Account Coordinator

Salt ProductionsLos Angeles, CA

About The Position

The Account Coordinator at Salt is the foundation of the Account team — detail-driven, curious, and eager to learn the craft of client partnership. In this role, you are not just keeping track of the work, you are learning how the pieces fit together: client priorities, creative ideas, and production execution. Account Coordinators help maintain clarity across projects by organizing information, documenting decisions, and ensuring the team has the right details at the right time. You support the Account team in delivering exceptional client experiences while steadily building your own confidence in internal and client conversations. This role is for someone who thrives on organization and communication, wants to grow in client service, and is motivated by being a core part of a team delivering world-class experiential work.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in an agency, marketing, or events environment (internships included).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and interest in learning project management tools.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eagerness to grow into a client-facing account role.

Responsibilities

  • Project Support - Assist Account Managers and Directors in maintaining organized workstreams, including project trackers, deliverable timelines, and shared documentation.
  • Documentation & Tracking - Capture meeting notes, update workbooks and status documents, and ensure key information and decisions are clearly documented and accessible across teams.
  • Client Communication Prep - Draft recap emails, organize presentation materials, and support the preparation of clear and professional client communication.
  • Cross-Team Coordination - Partner with Production, Creative, and Operations teams to track deliverables and ensure updates are communicated across workstreams.
  • Meeting Management - Help prepare agendas, coordinate scheduling, and circulate follow-ups that keep conversations focused and productive.
  • Learning the Account Discipline - Participate in client calls, internal kickoffs, and project reviews to build an understanding of Salt’s approach to client partnership, program leadership, and experiential execution.
  • Team Collaboration - Help foster a positive team dynamic by actively sharing information, feedback, and support.
