Free Market Bar (Host) Job Purpose Accurately and efficiently set up, maintains, and break down the Fresh Market Bar. Interacts and assists guests with questions at the Fresh Market Bar. Ensures that the Fresh Market Bar is stocked, clean, organized, and inviting.

Requirements

Must have knowledge of sanitation and safety procedures
Must keep Fresh Market Bar clean and organized
Must demonstrate teamwork consistently
Must be able to multi-task while maintaining standards of operations
Must be detail-oriented
Must be respectful of all guests, managers, team members, and vendors
Must be available to work a variety of opens, swings, and closes including weekends and holidays
Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lb.
Must be capable of constant walking, standing, lifting, reaching, crouching, standing, walking, and carry for long periods of time
Must be able to reach hands and arms in any direction
Must be able to stoop repeatedly
Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to co-workers and managers.
Must be able to engage in a two-way conversation with the customer on the floor.
Must have the ability to read and/or follow verbal instructions and implement the same.
Must be capable of applying common sense and understanding to carry out oral and/or written instructions.
Must understand and adhere to service standards.

Responsibilities

Assists guests at the Fresh Market Bar
Maintains a calm and inviting demeanor at all times
Follows the written prep sheets
Follows all recipes and specifications
Ensures a positive guest experience by ensuring prep items are always available, of high quality, and made to our specifications
Stocks and rotates food products appropriately
Complies with sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintains a clean and orderly Fresh Market Bar
Safely and accurately handles equipment, appliances, small wares, supplies, and tools
Works with team members to ensure a positive guest experience
Follows all sanitation and safety policies
Follow company cash handling policies and procedures
Maintains valid state and local food handlers and alcohol certifications as applicable
Performs other duties as assigned by management
Advises Restaurant Manager/General Manager/Regional Director of any non-routine situations
