The Fraud Business Analyst serves as a strategic partner across Fraud Strategy, business lines, digital teams, and enterprise risk functions. The role blends advanced fraud risk analysis with business consulting, solution evaluation, and cross-functional influence. This position identifies fraud vulnerabilities, maps and evaluates business processes, sizes financial impact (fraud losses, revenue impact, operational costs), and translates complex data into clear, actionable insights. The Analyst applies deep domain knowledge in authentication, transaction risk, identity verification, and servicing workflows to recommend fraud controls, guide vendor solution testing, and support development of enterprise-wide fraud mitigation strategies. This role is also responsible for maintaining awareness of emerging fraud trends, assessing vendor capabilities, contributing to pilot design and evaluation, and delivering structured reporting that informs executive decision making. The Analyst functions as a connector between technical teams, product owners, fraud operations, and enterprise partners—ensuring data-driven decisioning, process clarity, and delivery of measurable risk reduction.
