Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 12-months experience as a Fraud Investigator I at Grow Financial FCU or 3 years work experience in a financial related field such as fraud/loss prevention, BSA/AML compliance, collections, or lending operations
  • Exercises mature judgment and critical thinking skills
  • Maintains strong communication including written abilities, presentation skills, active listening, voice quality, grammar, strong interpersonal skills, multi-tasking ability, conflict management and telephone etiquette skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to effectively operate standard office equipment in a remote or in-office environment

Responsibilities

  • Independently managing a broad range of fraud case types
  • Contributing to fraud prevention initiatives
  • Bridging operational execution with emerging fraud trends
  • Supporting collaboration with technical partners to understand system outputs and fraud patterns
  • Daily review of predictive reports and taking appropriate actions on accounts
  • Participation in Fraud Team area-related projects
  • Training/education of credit union members and employees on fraud related topics
