Fraud Analytics Manager

Imprint
•$120,000 - $150,000

About The Position

Imprint is hiring a Fraud Analytics Manager to own the analytics function supporting fraud, credit risk, and operations. This is a hands-on individual contributor role with managerial scope, focused on building automation, tooling, and reporting infrastructure to reduce manual work and help teams make faster, smarter decisions. The role will serve as the primary analytics owner for work spanning fraud, credit, and risk, including consolidating fragmented reporting, creating shared backtesting frameworks, and deploying AI-assisted tools. This is a newly created role, not a backfill, intended to take ownership of currently underserved problems and establish a new type of analytics function at Imprint. In the first 90 days, the successful candidate is expected to automate or tool at least three manual reports or tasks; streamline shared Claude/LLM skills; establish an initial shared backtesting process for ATO, first-party fraud, IDT, and credit risk; and set up dashboards and reporting to track hours saved per week as the primary KPI. Success also means earning trust through decisive action and durable solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability and comfort working with messy, complex data.
  • Experience with BI tooling; Sigma is preferred, while Tableau or similar is accepted.
  • Experience with Git.
  • Clear, effective communication skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into decisions.
  • Bias toward action, with initiative to ship solutions without waiting for perfect conditions.
  • Roughly 3–6 years of relevant analytics experience; skill set matters more than tenure.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.
  • Background in fintech or a high-growth technology startup.
  • Exposure to fraud, credit risk, or financial domain analytics.
  • Experience building or scaling analytics functions from scratch.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end automation and tooling for manual and redundant analytics tasks across fraud and risk.
  • Build and maintain a consolidated backtesting framework for fraud rules, shared across ATO, first-party fraud, IDT, and credit risk.
  • Consolidate fragmented reporting pipelines and deliver clean, reliable reporting infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain a consolidated risk label framework so changes in one area account for downstream effects in others.
  • Deploy LLM and AI tooling to streamline analytical workflows.
  • Establish and track hours saved per week as a KPI, with supporting dashboards and reporting.
  • Partner with fraud, credit, and risk stakeholders to identify high-impact automation and tooling opportunities.
  • Help define and refine the scope of the function as it matures.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation and equity packages.
  • Work computer of choice.
  • Flexible paid time off.
  • Fully covered healthcare, including dependent coverage.
  • Access to One Medical.
  • Option to enroll in a flexible spending account (FSA).
  • 20 weeks of paid parental leave for the primary caregiver and 8 weeks for all new parents.
  • Access to industry-leading technology across the company's business units.
