The Fraud Analyst I is a cross-functional position within Fraud Operations, supporting Fraud Detection, Fraud Communication, and Domestic Collections teams based on staffing and business needs. In Fraud Detection, the role involves analyzing and decisioning alerts on fraud detection systems to determine necessary actions. Fraud Communication entails handling direct communications with customers, bank employees, and offshore fraud call service partners via phone and chat. Domestic Collections focuses on processing and decisioning fraud check dispute claims, including working alerts, dispute cases, and inbound call inquiries. All functions require attention to detail, multi-tasking, communication, and critical thinking skills. Fraud Analyst Is also assist leadership in developing policies and procedures to enhance processes and reduce fraud risk. The role is responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures. It requires always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, ensuring actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, the role achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.
