Franchise Sales Consultant, Non-Traditional Development

Steele Brands Management LLCWayzata, MN

About The Position

CRISP & GREEN is expanding into non-traditional venues such as airports, colleges and universities, military bases, stadiums and arenas, hospitals, corporate dining, casinos and resorts. This role is responsible for building this new sales channel by identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities in high-traffic, high-visibility locations where a health-forward brand is currently underrepresented. This is a 'hunting' role focused on self-generated deals, not an administrative or deal support position.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of franchise development, licensing, or B2B sales experience with documented results (deals sourced, deals signed, units committed).
  • Experience in non-traditional sales, or closely related multi-unit or enterprise development experience with a clear path into the non-traditional channel.
  • A network of contacts (venue operators, concessionaires, brokers, developers, multi-unit franchisees) that can be leveraged immediately.
  • Experience selling to sophisticated operators and business owners who ask challenging questions.
  • Comfortable working within a Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) framework.
  • Disciplined in CRM usage (FranConnect, Salesforce, or similar).
  • Willingness to travel for conferences, venue visits, and periodic brand meetings.

Nice To Haves

  • Track record of winning competitive RFPs and venue bids.
  • Experience with an emerging or fast-growing brand where speed is prioritized over process.
  • Existing relationships with national concessionaire or contract foodservice organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Build a pipeline of non-traditional opportunities through prospecting, existing relationships, brokers, conferences, LinkedIn, and referrals.
  • Develop relationships with concessionaires, contract foodservice providers, and venue operators, who are typically the gatekeepers in this channel.
  • Find and qualify multi-unit operators interested in adding a differentiated brand to their portfolio.
  • Lead responses to RFPs, competitive bids, and venue selection processes.
  • Qualify candidates based on financial capacity, operating ability, and brand fit, recognizing that a poor operator in a high-visibility venue is detrimental.
  • Manage deals through the development process, including FDD disclosure requirements and internal approvals, up to the signed agreement.
  • Maintain current and accurate CRM data in FranConnect and provide regular pipeline updates.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Design, and Legal teams on venue feasibility and alternative footprint development.

Benefits

  • Commission-driven opportunity with uncapped earning potential.
  • Potential for substantial income for top performers based on franchise sales volume.
  • Entrepreneurial environment.
