About The Position

We Insure Group is seeking an experienced, hands-on quoting and placement expert to join their team as a Franchise Placement & Production Manager. This is a production-focused role, not an administrative one. The ideal candidate is a seasoned personal lines insurance professional with deep carrier knowledge, sharp quoting instincts, and a passion for helping franchise owners write and place more business. The role serves as a daily resource for franchise agents, driving production results through strategic guidance, carrier expertise, and hands-on execution. It sits at the intersection of franchise production and Carrier Relations, bridging the gap between agent needs and carrier strategy. The role owns key production programs like Quote Buddy, Concierge Quoting, and out-of-state referral workflows, and partners with Carrier Relations to ensure agents can utilize appointments, navigate underwriting, and convert opportunities. The position is for individuals energized by solving complex placement challenges, coaching agents, and making a measurable impact.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
5+ years of hands-on experience in personal lines insurance within an agency or brokerage environment
Strong, hands-on experience with Applied Epic, InsuredMine, QuoteRush, and EZLynx; comfort working across multiple carrier portals
Proven ability to quote and place personal lines products including homeowners, auto, and umbrella
Deep knowledge of carrier appetite, underwriting guidelines, and placement strategy across personal lines markets
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
Strong problem-solving skills with sharp attention to detail and a focus on execution
Clear and effective communicator — able to coach agents, collaborate with carrier partners, and surface field insights to leadership

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field
Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license
Experience supporting franchise operations or a network-based agency model
Demonstrated proficiency with Applied Epic, InsuredMine, QuoteRush, and/or EZLynx
Experience with carrier relations, placement strategy, or production program management

Responsibilities

Production & Placement Support: Provide franchise agents with live quoting and placement strategy across personal lines products. Review risks and recommend the best carrier and coverage approach based on appetite and market fit. Assist agents with complex and hard-to-place risks, providing creative solutions. Ensure quotes are accurate, complete, and structured to maximize bind potential. Help agents move opportunities through the pipeline from quote to close.
Program Ownership: Own and manage the Quote Buddy program end-to-end, serving as the primary point of contact for agents seeking quoting support. Ensure fast turnaround and high-quality quoting support. Drive consistency and continuous improvement in program performance. Manage the full Concierge Quoting workflow, including intake, assignment, and follow-through. Ensure clean, complete handoffs back to agents for binding with minimal friction. Route out-of-state business appropriately based on licensing and carrier access. Ensure no opportunities are lost due to access or licensing gaps. Track and improve referral conversion through consistent process management.
Systems & Workflow Execution: Troubleshoot and optimize quoting and workflow configurations across core platforms: Applied Epic (AMS), InsuredMine (CRM & pipeline), QuoteRush, EZLynx, and carrier portals. Identify and resolve gaps in agent quoting setups quickly to minimize production disruption. Ensure accurate pipeline tracking and clean data flow across all systems. Serve as a subject matter expert on system capabilities and quoting best practices.
Carrier Support & Market Intelligence: Act as a day-to-day carrier resource for agents, providing guidance on appetite, submission strategy, and escalation support. Partner with the Carrier Relations team to align on carrier appetite, growth strategy, and access issues. Surface trends from the field — including underwriting shifts, pricing changes, and patterns in declines — to inform broader carrier strategy. Support carrier rollout and onboarding execution to ensure agents can effectively quote and bind with new appointments. Attend select carrier meetings and training sessions to stay current on market developments. Capture key takeaways and translate them into clear, actionable guidance for franchise agents. Provide feedback from the field on quoting challenges, carrier usability, and appetite clarity. Support follow-through to ensure agents adopt new information and translate it into production impact.
Agent Support & Enablement: Provide one-on-one coaching to franchise agents on quoting strategy, carrier placement, and system usage. Support new franchise onboarding with hands-on quoting guidance to set agents up for early success. Reinforce best practices with existing franchises to improve bind rates and optimize carrier mix.
Supervisory Responsibility: Directly manage and support the Concierge Agent, providing day-to-day leadership, guidance, and performance oversight. Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment. As the team and programs scale, this role is expected to expand its supervisory scope to include additional direct reports.
