About The Position

As a Franchise Business Coach, your work will directly impact the success of the business & operations execution of each MaidPro franchisee by influencing their performance and profitability. You will assist Franchisees by providing a wide range of consulting and development services, developing, and facilitating strategic initiatives to promote sales growth and ensuring consistency through education and guidance on operations. Our Franchise Business Coaches relationship starts the day the owner signs their franchise agreement and continues through the life of the franchise agreement. Successful coaches will leverage their industry and business development experience to assess current performance, identify areas of opportunity, recommend solutions based upon best practices, develop an action plan and follow up to encourage follow-through. This position will provide service across multiple states and communities and thus will require between 25-30% travel within and outside of their homebased territory.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in multi-unit leadership, franchise business consultant role or as a small business owner
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, service, finance, or related field preferred
  • Experience in the home services industry
  • Ability to drive revenue growth at franchisee level
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service by premium accessibility, financial acumen and analytical skills with a proven track record of driving revenue growth
  • Creative, out of the box thinking with a problem-solving mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, results oriented culture
  • Ability to work with and influence across a variety of personalities and situations
  • Ability to influence without authority; servant leadership mentality
  • Ability to partner with brand and shared services departments to meet and deliver service and objectives
  • Ability to facilitate meetings in front of franchisee & corporate audiences
  • Strong ability to multi-task and juggle multiple locations in various stages of ownership
  • Capacity to remain calm when challenged, and uphold professionalism in working through conflict
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills (phone, email, in person and presentation)
  • Ability to think creatively, and to be a driven and self-motivated contributor
  • Ability to be proactive with strategic mindset
  • Must complete other tasks and projects as assigned by leadership
  • Ability to travel between 25-30% or dependent on need
  • Valid driver’s license and Passport
  • Proficient with technology

Responsibilities

  • Successfully leverage persuasive data, information, and learnings from the broader franchise to provide constructive feedback and encourage change
  • Use financial information to help the franchisee gain insights into the profitability and performance of their business.
  • Leverage a keen understanding of what drives growth & profitability for our franchisees
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise in the grout, tile and stone restoration industry and our operations.
  • Provide practical advice to help franchisees improve the efficiency of their operations
  • Work collaboratively with the franchisees to develop a business/operational plan that includes specific goals with key initiatives and deadlines.
  • Create and review plans on a regular basis and provide expert evaluation, training, advice, and recommendations
  • Guide and support franchisees to grow their revenue and local market share in a way that is consistent with the company’s brand and marketing strategy
  • Leverage coaching skills to help franchisees maintain their enthusiasm for the business and focus their attention on achieving higher levels of performance.
  • Leverage coaching skills including active listening, powerful questioning, and goal setting
  • Assist franchisees to continually improve their knowledge and learn new skills
  • Communicate and reinforce compliance to minimum operational standards in an objective and balanced way
  • Present informational presentations for franchisee training programs including New Franchisee onboarding, Regional Training, e-Learning and Annual Convention to increase program adoption.
  • Effectively balance the interests of both the franchisee and franchisor
