About The Position

Greenberg Traurig has an excellent opportunity for a Mid-Level Associate in our Aspen or Denver office to join the global Franchise and Distribution Practice. The Franchise & Distribution Practice at Greenberg Traurig advises leading and emerging brands on the development, expansion, and operation of franchise, licensing, and distribution networks in the United States and around the world. Associates work on sophisticated transactional matters, including franchise program development, regulatory compliance, commercial agreements, international expansion strategies, and franchise-related mergers and acquisitions. The practice serves clients across numerous industries and jurisdictions, offering significant opportunities for direct client contact and exposure to complex transactions.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience with mergers and acquisitions, general corporate and/or licensing matters.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• High degree of maturity.
• Proven willingness to accept significant responsibility and manage a challenging workload within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Detail oriented.
• Strong writing skills.
• Admitted to the Colorado Bar or eligible for admission to the Colorado Bar.

• Franchise experience is preferred, but not required.
