About The Position

The Framing Manager will lead and coach a team of framers, focusing on building customer relationships and creating framing solutions for their art. This role drives custom framing sales and assists customers in creating memorable framing solutions for their art. The position involves assisting the Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements, ensuring execution of Company policies and standards, and holding the team accountable for store conditions and results. The manager will develop and coach team selling behaviors, lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions on time by planning workload in partnership with the Store Manager, and achieve their KPI’s while managing the framing team to achieve their role KPI’s. The role also includes reviewing sales and production workload, building plans and sales floor time for networking, managing and executing inventory management processes, and managing and executing shrink and safety programs. The Framing Manager will serve as Manager on Duty (MOD), assist with interviewing, on-boarding, coaching, observing and training new team members, support Talent Development activities, participate in Performance Management activities of their team, and utilize leadership competencies for continued self-development. They will partner with MOD’s daily on expectations for framing and other framers, interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, remain positive and respectful even in difficult situations, promote commitment to the organization’s vision and values, and project a positive image and serve as a role model. Additionally, the role involves participating in truck un-load and stocking processes, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure a safe environment, acknowledging customers, helping locate product, providing solutions, and assisting with Omni channel processes. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Basic computer skills

Previous custom framing experience is preferred
Retail management experience
Experience leading a sales team

Responsibilities

Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Company programs to ensure compliance to applicable laws and requirements; ensure execution of Company policies and standards; hold team accountable for store conditions and results
Develop and coach the team selling behaviors
Leads the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to our customers on time by planning workload in partnership with the Store Manager
Achieve your KPI’s and manage the framing team to achieve their role KPI’s
Review sales and production workload and build plans and sales floor time for networking.
Manage and execute the inventory management processes as assigned
Manage and execute shrink and safety programs.
Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD)
