The Framing Manager leads and coaches a team of framers, focusing on building customer relationships and creating custom framing solutions for their art. This role drives custom framing sales and assists customers in creating memorable framing solutions. The Manager also assists the Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs, ensuring compliance with laws and requirements, and holding the team accountable for store conditions and results. They develop and coach selling behaviors, lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions on time by planning workload, and manage the framing team to achieve their KPIs. The role involves reviewing sales and production workload, building plans for sales floor time and networking, managing inventory, and executing shrink and safety programs. The Framing Manager also serves as Manager on Duty (MOD), assists with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training new team members, supports Talent Development, participates in Performance Management, and utilizes leadership competencies for self-development. They partner with MODs daily on framing expectations and interact positively and respectfully with others, promoting organizational vision and values. The role includes participating in truck unloads and stocking, following SOPs, ensuring a safe environment, acknowledging customers, assisting with Omni channel processes, and performing other duties as assigned.
