About The Position

Framer 2 Primary function is to manufacture round stock product to established specification in a productive, efficient and safe manner. During 90-day probationary period a Framer 2 will be classified as a Framer 3 during their training phase until proficient. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.

Requirements

Ability to inspect and verify quality and classification of round stock to ANSI, ASTM or Corporate standards.
Proficiency in operating hand and framing tools to cut, drill, gain, brand, tag, clean and prepare poles for treatment.
Ability to document and report material processed.
Skill in maintaining tools, equipment, supplies and work area.
Ability to assist in inspection of all round stock products.
Ability to assist in receipt of materials, tallying, identification, records and information.
Ability to assist in operation of full length and deep incisor as required.
Proficiency in operating pole tag machine to manufacture aluminum tags.
Participation and contribution to company safety program.
Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
Ability to perform the essential functions of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
