About The Position

The Frame Handler position is a full-time role located at Plant 2 Upholstery Plant in Lenoir, NC. This role involves the loading, unloading, and movement of materials within the plant, yard, or worksite. The Frame Handler will read work orders or follow oral instructions to determine materials to be moved, open containers, and load/unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand. They will also load materials into vehicles, install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage, and attach identifying tags or labels. Additionally, the role includes loading and unloading trucks by hand or using a dolly or hand truck, lifting, pushing, and pulling items as needed, learning to read a SPEC sheet, and performing any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of AS400
Experience with Microsoft office (Word and Excel)
Basic knowledge of machinery
Prolonged periods of standing, bending, reaching
Able to lift 50 pounds, occasionally
Regularly use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects

Nice To Haves

Experience with frame assembly preferred
Experience in data analysis, reporting and inventory control
Experience with daily trailer scheduling
Experience in resource planning

Responsibilities

Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site.
Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
Opens containers, using steel cutters, crowbar, clawhammer, or other hand tools.
Loads unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
Loads materials into vehicles installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage.
Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on Items.
Load and Unload Trucks by hand or utilizing a dolly or hand Truck.
Lift, Push and Pull Items as needed.
Must learn how to read a SPEC sheet.
Any other duties assigned by a member of the Management Team.
