About The Position

As a Seasonal Fragrance Sales Support colleague at Macy’s, you will help create a warm and inviting experience in the fragrance department by maintaining a beautifully merchandised, fully stocked, and shop-ready space. You will prepare products, restock displays, support sales colleagues on the floor and behind the scenes, and assist with transactions. The role combines customer service and sales support during the busy seasonal period, requiring attention to detail, hospitality, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

You will help keep the sales floor clean, organized, and ready for customers; learn about new arrivals, popular products, trends, promotions, and sales goals; and engage customers in friendly, personal conversations. You will maintain merchandise and displays, process damages and testers, return select merchandise to vendors, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves. You will also share loyalty program benefits and help ensure customers have what they need.

Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability. Flexible availability is needed for various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. The position requires regular attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain a clean, organized, fully stocked, and shoppable fragrance sales floor.
• Prepare products and restock displays while supporting the sales team on the floor and behind the scenes.
• Learn about sales goals, new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions.
• Welcome customers and create friendly, personal conversations to build customer relationships.
• Merchandise new receipts and process damages, testers, and select merchandise for return to vendors.
• Update signs and pricing and support merchandise moves as needed.
• Assist with transactions and use register equipment to process sales.
• Share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and thank them for their visit.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to achieving individual and store results.
