Requirements

  • High school or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or fellow team members.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio and percentage.
  • Ability to read a measuring tape.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Ability to multitask and be a problem solver.
  • Must have good phone skills and interact well with others.
  • Must have basic computing skills.
  • Must be self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  • Individuals may need to sit or stand for up to 8 hours per shift as needed.
  • Will require climbing of stairs, kneeling for long periods of time and walking on a level surface at times throughout the day.
  • Individuals must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the product meets customer expectations and is packaged according to instruction.
  • Provide warehouse department with piece count and job detail information to allow efficient shipping of product.
  • Communicate with the sales department by notifying them of the completion of the job, where final approval is requested or communicating corrective action options where deviations occur.
  • Communicate with department managers by communicating failures to complete operational quality control steps.
  • Secure photos for archiving process.
  • Complete inspection and packaging tasks as assigned and outlined by schedule.
  • Carefully read job traveler and follow instructions to ensure product is produced and packaged correctly.
  • Take photos of all finished products using our photo app.
  • Assemble modular frame systems.
  • Quality Control: make sure all products meet our quality standards.
  • Accurately capture time (clock in/out for the day, track time on individual jobs) and quantities using our ERP system.
  • Meet timing standards and sales/engineering expectations of the product.
  • Work with team and train as necessary on jobs in the department.
  • Remaining flexible to meet the changing demands and deadlines encompassing the entire schedule.
  • Keeping an orderly, clean, and safe workspace to contribute to overall success of the department.
  • Ability to share knowledge throughout department regardless of experience level.
