About The Position
Doncasters is hiring an FPI Level 2 (Fluorescent Penetrant Inspector) for its facility in Groton, Connecticut. The role performs fluorescent penetrant inspection on investment castings and wax patterns, ensuring work meets specifications. The inspector is expected to be results-driven, work toward exceeding set goals, and apply prior experience to support precision and quality. The position is 40 hours per week on the night shift, Monday through Thursday, with a salary of $26–$36 per hour plus a night-shift differential. Doncasters manufactures complex precision cast components for aerospace engines and industrial gas turbines. Requirements
- Certified NDT FPI Level 2; the posting specifies NAS 410 certification.
- Ability to pass a visual acuity test.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Firm understanding of gauging and measuring equipment.
