About The Position

We are seeking an experienced FPGA Verification/Design Engineer with expertise in Avionics and DO-254 compliance. This role involves RTL design, simulation, verification, lab testing, and supporting full hardware lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FPGA/ASIC verification, DO-254 processes, and the ability to mentor and coordinate remote teams. This position offers a salary range of $120,000 - $140,000 per year.

Requirements

• Strong FPGA/ASIC verification experience (5+ years minimum)
• Experience with DO-254 documentation & processes
• Ability to mentor & coordinate remote teams
• Strong communication skills
• STEM degree required
• SystemVerilog / UVM
• FPGA verification & lab testing
• DO-254 compliance (Required)

Nice To Haves

• Xilinx FPGA (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• RTL design & simulation (VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog)
• Develop UVM test environments
• Perform static timing, linting, and CDC analysis
• Support DO-254 certification (DAL-A)
• Participate in FAA audits
• Manage full hardware lifecycle: requirements → design → synthesis → place & route
• Provide technical & process guidance to offshore teams
