About The Position

We are seeking an experienced FPGA Verification/Design Engineer with expertise in Avionics and DO-254 compliance. This role involves RTL design, simulation, verification environment development, and supporting the full hardware lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FPGA/ASIC verification, DO-254 processes, and the ability to mentor offshore teams. This position is crucial for ensuring the successful certification of our avionics hardware.

Requirements

• Strong FPGA/ASIC verification experience (5+ years minimum)
• Experience with DO-254 documentation & processes
• Ability to mentor & coordinate remote teams
• Strong communication skills
• STEM degree required

Nice To Haves

• Xilinx FPGA experience

Responsibilities

• RTL design & simulation (VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog)
• Develop UVM test environments
• Perform static timing, linting, and CDC analysis
• Support DO-254 certification (DAL-A)
• Participate in FAA audits
• Manage full hardware lifecycle: requirements → design → synthesis → place & route
• Provide technical & process guidance to offshore teams
