Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline; equivalent experience considered
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in digital ASIC/FPGA design and verification
• Hands-on expertise with VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog for HDL programming
• Proven experience in digital signal processing and high-speed digital design
• Experience with COTS-based control platforms and embedded FPGA processors
• Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance

• Project leadership or management experience in ASIC projects
• Familiarity with space system design and associated hardware requirements
• Strong communication skills with customer-facing experience
• Proficiency in AI prompting relevant to FPGA development

Responsibilities

• Lead design, simulation, verification, and integration of complex, high-speed ASIC and FPGA-based products
• Collaborate with Systems Architects, RF/Analog, Digital Circuit designers, and fellow ASIC/FPGA engineers to develop next-generation solutions
• Develop, automate, and script processes to enhance FPGA development efficiency and affordability
• Integrate COTS control platforms and embedded processors within FPGA systems
• Contribute to system-level architecture and support full product lifecycle from concept through test and deployment
• Ensure technical excellence while supporting high-level security and performance standards
