Requirements

Must be a US Citizen
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
5–10 years of FPGA design experience.
Experience with Xilinx FPGA platforms and toolchains (Vivado, ISE, SDK, Vitis).
Experience developing with VHDL and/or Verilog.
Experience with SoC FPGA architectures (e.g., Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC, ARM processors, PS-PL interfacing).
Experience with high-speed and embedded communication protocols: PCIe, USB, Ethernet, DDR, I2C, SPI, CAN.
Experience with video interfaces such as LVDS and HDMI.
Experience supporting Xilinx CPLDs (legacy systems).
Familiarity with Git (or equivalent) and Jira (or similar tools).
Basic understanding of electrical circuits and hardware integration.

Responsibilities

Design and develop FPGA architectures for video processing, control systems, and hardware interfaces.
Collaborate with systems, software, and hardware teams to translate requirements into implementable FPGA designs.
Develop, decompose, and manage design requirements into structured work packages.
Implement designs using Xilinx IP cores and third-party IP, and develop custom IP using VHDL/Verilog.
Perform timing analysis and closure, including constraint development.
Debug and validate designs through simulation and lab-based hardware testing.
Support and maintain legacy FPGA and CPLD designs.
Utilize revision control (Git) and issue tracking tools (Jira) for design collaboration and lifecycle management.
