About The Position

As FP&A Manager at Conga, you will support the maintenance of corporate financial model inputs, monthly financial close processes, reporting, and analytics needs. You will develop relationships across the Product (R&D) organizations to enhance and improve the accuracy and understanding of budgets, forecasts, and analyses. You will also help to expand the support for the Product organization through pricing analysis and product roadmap prioritization. The Finance team is essential to Conga's success, providing critical support for the operational management team, executive leadership team, and board of directors.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years in FP&A, corporate strategy, or related fields.
  • Specific history in supporting and working with executive leadership of R&D at a SaaS company.
  • Experience in creating robust financial analyses, models, reports, and dashboards that facilitate business decisions, especially using Excel.
  • Vast understanding of accounting, finance, and operations principles.
  • Ability to help others understand and apply accounting, finance, and operations concepts.
  • Take initiative to understand the business’s needs and challenges.
  • Form quality, robust recommendations through acquired knowledge, data sources, and existing processes.
  • Create scalable solutions that will help immediately and in the future.
  • Proactive about completing own work.
  • Ability to introduce projects that will benefit the team or organization, even if outside of scope of work.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Understanding and prior experience supporting a Product (R&D) organization at a software (SaaS) company is a must.
  • Successful completion of a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration is highly preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with FP&A relational databases.
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Experience with Salesforce reporting.
  • Facilitated due diligence or assisted in corporate development processes such as M&A, capital raises, etc.
  • Worked within FP&A tools such as Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, etc.
  • Good processes in place to ensure accuracy.
  • Resourceful and collaborative.
