About The Position
MDSearch is seeking a locum FP-Anesthesiolgist to join Inuvik Regional Hospital, supporting operative services and emergency care. While the ideal candidate may also contribute to clinic and ER, the core requirement is FP-Anesthesia skills. Your anesthetic skills will be actively utilized for procedural sedations (including a high-caliber endoscopy program), general anesthesia for pediatric dental cases, elective procedures including cesarean sections, visiting specialist cases, epidurals, and emergency anesthesia for patients of all ages.
Requirements
- CCFP with GP-Anesthesia training
- Eligible for NWT licensure

Responsibilities
- Provide anesthetic skills for procedural sedations
- Provide general anesthesia for pediatric dental cases
- Provide anesthesia for elective procedures including cesarean sections
- Provide anesthesia for visiting specialist cases
- Administer epidurals
- Provide emergency anesthesia for patients of all ages
