About The Position

Tempo is seeking a creative systems thinker with deep understanding of enterprise finance to join as an FP&A Product Lead, Financial Manager. This role focuses on addressing the visibility problem in enterprise financial planning by bridging the gap between financial systems and portfolio execution. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing financial planning systems, modeling budget cycles, or guiding finance teams through tooling transformations. This is not a traditional product management role, but rather for someone who has lived the problem of connecting financial plans to portfolio execution. The role involves driving strategy for Tempo Financial Manager, which provides financial intelligence within Tempo's ecosystem, converting data from Jira, Capacity Planner, and Timesheets into project budgets, portfolio forecasts, and other financial metrics. The candidate will work closely with engineering and design teams, utilizing AI collaboratively to accelerate delivery and close the loop between insight and execution.

  • Curiosity about AI and its application in enterprise planning, financial forecasts, and budgets.
  • Ability to sift through complexity and produce clear, structured output for executive audiences.
