About The Position

Dewberry is looking for a motivated Financial Planning and Analysis Intern for Summer 2026 to join the Accounting and Finance Department in our corporate office in Fairfax, Virginia. The Accounting Intern will assist the finance department with a wide range of duties from preparing and analyzing data as well as learning about accounting and finance activities. Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting or Finance is required
• Proficiency using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is required
• Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Great attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High level of efficiency and accuracy
• Strong work ethic, task-oriented, reliable

Responsibilities

• Assists with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records
• Prepares and reviews monthly payments for rent for multiple locations
• Prepares and tracks property tax fillings and payments
• Assists with data entry
• Assists with preparation of various reports
• Other duties as assigned
