About The Position

The employee in this mid-level role will work remotely and partner with our finance team to ensure the company’s financial health is solid. The starting salary range for this position is $79,500 - $90,000.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of financial data analysis and forecasting experience
  • Eager to learn and adopt the use of AI
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel spreadsheet and financial modeling skills
  • Ability to forecast trends and financial impacts based on multiple scenarios
  • Self-starter with ability to assess priorities and meet deadlines
  • Thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

Responsibilities

  • The focus of this role is on company forecasting, analysis and reporting.
  • Use AI to create automation in the Finance department.
  • Partners with cross-functional teams to help enhance processes and automate financial and operational reporting.
  • Establishes strong quality checks and controls to ensure data accuracy.
  • Reviews financial planning work processes, systems, and procedures for efficient workflow and conformity with accounting principles.
  • Serves as a key resource for insightful analysis that facilitates decision making.
  • Prepares and delivers comprehensive evaluations, proposals, and recommendations to executive leadership, committees, and other stakeholders.
  • Reviews and audits fee calculations. Maintains simple loan ledgers and interest calculations.
  • Provides strong revenue analysis, explaining changes from prior periods and variance from budget.
  • Other general accounting functions including processing vendor invoices and client fees.
