About The Position

The FP&A Associate supports the Financial Planning & Analysis team with month-end close, financial reporting, operating expense management, budgeting, forecasting, and other routine FP&A activities.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of relevant financial experience, including exposure to budgeting, forecasting, cost management, financial reporting, or financial analysis.
  • Experience preparing recurring reports, maintaining financial data, and reviewing budget-to-actual or other financial results for accuracy.
  • Experience using Excel and financial systems for financial reporting and analysis is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Working knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting concepts.
  • Analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel.
  • Ability to learn and use financial systems and data visualization or reporting tools.
  • Ability to organize work, manage details, and meet established deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with cross-functional partners.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as SQL, SAS, Tableau, or similar platforms is preferred.
  • Experience in financial services, automotive finance, banking, consulting, or a related industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support month-end close and recurring financial reporting activities.
  • Assist with operating expense management, budgeting, and forecasting by preparing reports, updating financial data, and reviewing results for accuracy.
  • Perform defined financial and operational analyses using internal and external data.
  • Summarize findings and provide information to support cross-functional discussions and business decisions.
  • Assist with developing, maintaining, and enhancing performance data and recurring reports to improve the timeliness, accuracy, and quality of financial analysis.
