About The Position

The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for identifying and understanding costs associated with producing goods sold by the Company to create optimal, competitive pricing structures that align with the Company’s strategic profitability goals. This role involves developing and preparing sales proposals and presentations, analyzing competitor pricing and market trends, and assisting the sales team with loading and managing new and existing business. The analyst will also focus on customer profitability, identifying efficient production methods, analyzing sales projections, and supporting FP&A planning processes. Additionally, the role requires reviewing records, conferring with managers, and performing other related duties, including reporting food safety and quality issues.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and understanding costs associated with producing goods sold by the Company in order to create optimal, but competitive, pricing structure(s) for such product(s) and related product mix that align with the Company’s strategic profitability goals
  • Developing and preparing sales proposals and presentations for existing customer base and prospective customers
  • Analyzing competitor pricing and understanding market trends in pricing
  • Assisting sales team in effectively in loading new business and managing existing business, which includes, but is not limited to: Adjustments related to market and non-market related movements associated with materials used in production of goods, New item entry
  • Analyzing customer profitability and performance and identifying exceptions and outliers
  • Analyzing profitability and performance results to identify more efficient production methods, processes, product “mix” etc.
  • Collecting and analyzing sales projections, converting projections into machine demand capacity and requirements
  • Assisting Senior Manager with FP&A Planning processes, as requested
  • Reviewing and analyzing records, reports and directives and confers with other managers to obtain data required for planning activities
  • Performing other related duties, as required
  • Reporting food safety and quality issues to those that can initiate action
