About The Position

Zayo is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join the Zayo Networks organization reporting directly to the segment’s Sr FP&A Manager. This position plays a pivotal role in actively providing value to Zayo Networks and requires an individual with diverse analytical skills and interests. While this position is open to remote candidates located within the United States, the individual in this role must be able to regularly support and participate in business operations during Central Time (CT) or Mountain Time (MT) working hours.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in finance or business.
  • 1+ years of FP&A experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to support FP&A functions including financial modeling, forecasting, reporting, and data analysis required
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across multiple levels of leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting and analytical skills: ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to work CT or MT hours
  • Professional demeanor; self-accountable
  • Ability to manage a high-volume of workload efficiently and effectively
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Ability to work extended hours (some evenings and weekends, when necessary) and achieve results in a deadline driven environment
  • High energy individual with strong work ethic and ability to multitask
  • Must be a self-motivator with a "We can" attitude
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information when needed
  • Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced environment that could be ambiguous

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain in-depth analysis, modeling, forecasting, and reporting of financial and business performance
  • Prepare and maintain monthly/quarterly/annual forecasting and reporting records of financial and business performance to support company-wide financial and operational goals, initiatives and objectives
  • Assist with month-end and quarter-end close and reporting responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation of presentations (internal and external) of financial and operational business results and analysis
  • Maintain data fidelity in our financial databases
  • Assist in internal spend analysis, providing detailed budget performance for Executives
  • Presenting to senior leadership, including SVP of Finance, CFO and other C-level leaders
  • Other financial and operational analysis and duties as needed
