About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Fountain worker is to accurately handle cash register transactions and ensure guests are greeted cheerfully and prepare food & beverage per guest's requests. This role involves providing fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service, accurately inputting orders, making drinks to order, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The position also includes assisting co-workers, training new staff, resolving guest complaints, and performing basic food preparation.

Requirements

  • 6 months previous cash handling experience.
  • Effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
  • Neat and professional appearance.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to interact with customers, public and co-workers.
  • Ability to use a computer and/or cash register.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately handle cash register transactions.
  • Ensure guests are greeted cheerfully.
  • Prepare food & beverage per guest's requests.
  • Provide fast, friendly, professional and responsive customer service.
  • Engage in friendly conversations with guests.
  • Accurately input all orders into the POS terminal.
  • Accurately post all transactions on the POS terminal giving correct change.
  • Make drinks to order in accordance with established recipes and time guidelines.
  • Deliver product to customer in timely manner.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service at all times.
  • Thank guests for their patronage.
  • Maintain appropriate level of stock items in area.
  • Assist in maintaining display cases and pastry par levels.
  • Keep designated working area clean and organized and assist in maintaining cleanliness of surrounding areas, and condiment areas.
  • Assist all co-workers as needed.
  • Assist Management in getting food product to customer.
  • Assist in training new Fountain Counter Persons and new Management staff.
  • Perform periodic cleaning tasks assigned by Management.
  • Attend mandatory meetings and training classes as assigned.
  • Resolve guest complaints expeditiously and inform Management of the complaints.
  • Prepare or serve menu items, such as sandwiches or salads.
  • Perform basic food preparation and service.
