About The Position
Fulmer/Perma-Cast is a manufacturer company and distributor of electric motor brush holders and job shop of machined parts. We are actively looking for a Foundry Laborer to assist in the Foundry, making parts for customers. This role involves assisting in the Foundry and making parts for customers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Accuracy and responsibility as many duties must be performed without close supervision.
- Minimum 3-6 months on the job training under close supervision.
Nice To Haves
- Training and/or experience using Foundry hot metal Molds including Furnace(s) apparatus is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the Foundry, making parts for customers.
- Proper Setup and Safe operation of hot metal molds.
- Utilizes Foundry principles of metal melting, pouring (ladling), solidifying and familiar with proper handling opening and closing of hot metal (permanent molds or others).
