•$200,000 - $250,000

About The Position

Artemis is seeking a Founding Product Manager to shape the vision, strategy, and roadmap for its AI-native cybersecurity platform. The role works directly with the co-founders and across engineering, design, security, and AI/ML to turn technical capabilities into products that improve how companies defend themselves. The position calls for comfort with ambiguity, curiosity about AI, and the ability to balance technical depth with intuitive user experiences. The Product Manager will be hands-on with prototyping and translate complex detection and analytics systems into human-centered solutions for security practitioners.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of product management experience.
  • At least 2 years of work experience at a SIEM, SOAR, or threat detection cybersecurity vendor.
  • Passion for AI demonstrated through hands-on building, prototyping, or side projects, and by staying current on research and tools.
  • Fluency with core LLM concepts and systems, including prompting, embeddings, retrieval, and evaluations, and sound judgment in translating them into reliable user-facing products.
  • BA/BS in a technical or analytical field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field.
  • Strong customer empathy and design thinking, particularly for technical end users who expect tools to respect their expertise.
  • Fluency with modern engineering and design tools, such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Figma.
  • Fluency in data and experimentation, including understanding when an answer cannot be found in the data.
  • Proven ability to lead small cross-functional teams toward ambitious goals with urgency and agency.
  • Ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences and synthesize complex systems into compelling narratives.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills.

  • Prior experience as a software engineer or security engineer is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for core platform areas, from detection and analytics to agentic workflows.
  • Drive high-velocity execution with engineers and designers, balancing principled intuition with data-driven decision-making.
  • Understand the workflows of CISOs, SOC analysts, and security engineers; combine customer insights with technical possibilities to create intuitive experiences that abstract complexity in large-scale security data.
  • Prototype with tools such as Claude Code and Cursor to accelerate product development and clarify product vision.
  • Write evaluations with engineering and research teams to ensure the product meets customer needs.
  • Apply insights from AI research, cybersecurity trends, and the evolving threat landscape to Artemis' product.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Artemis' product practices as the company and team grow.
