Founding Product Manager
About The Position
Our client is a rapidly growing AI-powered fintech startup transforming how financial institutions operate. Backed by leading investors and having recently secured significant Series A funding, they are replacing legacy systems with AI-native software that automates complex operational workflows across the financial services sector. With strong customer traction, enterprise demand, and ambitious growth plans, they are looking for a Founding Product Manager to work directly with the CEO and help shape the next generation of their platform. This is an opportunity to join early, own critical product areas, and play a key role in building a category-defining business.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Product Management experience within high-growth technology companies.
- Experience building and scaling B2B SaaS or enterprise software products.
- Background working on technical products alongside engineering teams.
- Previous experience as a Software Engineer, Founder, Solutions Engineer, or highly technical PM.
- Experience within fintech, financial services, lending, payments, or other regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of the SDLC and experience owning products from concept through delivery.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong product judgement, attention to detail, and customer empathy.
- A hands-on mindset with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and execute.
Nice To Haves
- Computer Science or other technical degree.
- Experience with AI/ML products.
- Exposure to lending, loan origination, underwriting, payments, or financial infrastructure.
- Experience at Series A-D startups or other fast-paced scaling businesses.
Responsibilities
- Own products end-to-end from discovery through launch and iteration.
- Work directly with enterprise customers to understand workflows, pain points, and requirements.
- Translate complex business and technical problems into clear product specifications and requirements.
- Partner closely with engineering to drive execution and make product trade-off decisions.
- Draft enterprise-grade product documentation, acceptance criteria, and feature requirements.
- Build and scale AI-native product experiences that improve operational efficiency for customers.
- Take ownership of new product initiatives and help shape the overall product strategy as the company grows.
