About The Position

Mesh is seeking a Founding PM for Agentic Commerce. AI agents will change how commerce and payments work. Every payment flow today assumes a human is present ... someone to look at the price and click confirm. Agents break that assumption, and no one knows what replaces it. Mesh needs to be at the front lines finding out. This role is unlike any other PM role at Mesh. There is no product to ship yet. Your job is to figure out how agents will buy, sell, and move money. You will build with the emerging protocols, embed in the community, and run experiments on live payment rails, working directly with our SVP of Product to turn what you learn into where Mesh bets. The space is noisy and it's easy to get lost in the wilderness. To succeed, you need to both think and do. Thinking without doing is just speculation. Doing without thinking is giving in to FOMO. You need to form strong hypotheses, then prove or kill them.

Requirements

You have built something real without being told what to build ... a very early startup, a side project strangers actually used, an agent that can buy or book or trade ... and you learned something from it that most people don't know.
You can take an idea to a working prototype yourself ... code, APIs, and AI tools ... and you don't wait for permission or resources to start. You will be asked to show something you built and walk through the decisions inside it.
You form positions before you have full information, and you change them when the evidence turns. You can describe a conviction you held, what killed it, and what you did next.
Crypto or payments experience is a plus, not a requirement.
Genuine curiosity about how money moves is required.

Responsibilities

Be the center of gravity for agentic commerce at Mesh. Every question about agents and money movement routes to you ... what's real, what's hype, what we test, what we ignore. If an agent touches a payment, you have a view on it.
Be the expert the company doesn't have yet. The protocols, the standards bodies, the model capabilities, the startups, the failures.
When a customer asks "what is Mesh's agent story?", you are where the answer comes from ... and today, no one at Mesh can answer it.
Build the proof, hands-on. Working agents completing real transactions on live rails ... not decks, not memos. You write the code, wire up the protocols, and run the experiments.
When an experiment needs a customer, you recruit them from our existing base.
Represent Mesh at the frontier. Protocol working groups, hackathons, the rooms where standards get set. Mesh should be a name in agentic commerce before it has a product there ... you are how that happens.
Make the case for what Mesh builds first. When a hypothesis survives, the work changes: write the case, size the bet, and defend it with the SVP of Product. The strength of your evidence determines the speed of the company.
